I (Jenny) have been loving dogs for as long as I can remember, even as a little girl I competed with my friend's English Springer Spaniel in children handling dogs and participated in exhibitions.
Because Dad wasn't so fond of dogs at that time, it wasn't until I moved away from home that I bought my first dog, a Dalmatian. One dog quickly became several dogs and my interest in exhibitions was aroused. Dalmatian Jill came into my life she was my "one's in the life time" Dalmatian. We had great success in the show ring but above all she was so much more than a dog, she was always by my side.
After some bad luck with the Dalmatians, my interest in spaniel was aroused and then first for Welsh Springer Spaniel through "Jaffa" Benton Under Oath. Through the show and friends I met Helene and David, I started helping them show dogs. When Helene had her brain surgery, I hepled them and took care of two puppies and that led to an English Springer Spaniel moving in to my home. After that, it didn't take long before the pack of dogs expanded with several English Springer Spaniels.
I work full time as a business economist, when I was studying it was important to me that my future job wouldn't mean any work time on weekends (when the dog shows are).
